» my “Happy 6 Years with ELF!” post!
3 1/2 years ago I always kept the “favorite artists:” section blank on the about me part of the little intro sheet our teachers gave to get to know us better. 3 years ago I laughed at other students who I said wasted their money obsessing over singers. I told my teacher I would never buy something just because my favourite artists wore it or had it etc. Then in June all that came slapping me in the face as I clicked on the link a friend gave me to Super Junior’s It’s You mv. And first I had no interest and I minimuized the mv to continue my sasunaru fangirling. But then the song got better so I replayed it and as I watched the mv I became a fan. After that day I kept watching them and I spent everyday of my summer getting to know more and more about Super Junior until I learned the name EverLastingFriends. No matter how many other bias I have, Super Junior will be my only #1. No matter how many other groups I like or obbess over, Super Junior is my one and only that I follow. That is why I call myself and ELF. It’s not that I’m can’t call myself an “exotic” or an “angel” etc since I like other groups too. It’s just that I don’t WANT to belong to any other fandome. I want to remain an ELF forever and I will! =D my heart goes out to the boys who I never thought I’d ever come to have in my life. The only people who I cry and smile with, not to mention am totally emotionally attached to now. Of course, my ELF friends. Even if we do leave the social network and get busy with our lives as we grow older, I will remember everyone of you that I know. I really will. Because I grew up with you guys and with SJ. You were a part of my teenage years (19 now T.T) and so you are a part of my life.
To the last fandome standing. We won’t stop until the world is covered with sapphire pearl blue. I have never regret being an ELF.
